 Verla
Mae Palik, age 72, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Sunday,
April 16, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield,
Wisconsin.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Niebull
Cemetery, Twp of Big Flats, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 9
to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Verla was born May 13, 1933 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin to
Vilas and Mildred (Lee) Piper. She married Ray W. Palik on
September 25, 1954 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Verla enjoyed knitting and crocheting; having lunch with
her friends, bird watching, and visiting with family and
friends. Verla was a charter member of the Big Flats
Fire Dept. Auxiliary, the Big Flats Homemakers, and former
dispatcher for the Adams Columbia Electric Co-op.
Verla was preceded in death by her parents; husband
(Ray); and a sister (Carol Radtke).
