Cheri
L. Crain, age 47, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died
Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the St. Clare Hospice House in
Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25,
2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Mr. Dennis Funmaker will officiate. Interment
will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of
service at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Cheri was born October 3, 1958 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to
Christopher and Dolores Mae (Walker) Winneshiek Jr. She
worked as a CNA in East Troy area. She married Melvin
William Crain.
Cheri was a proud member of the Ho-Chunk Nation,
her Ho-Chunk name is Wa Kun Ja Skienk “White Thunder”.
Cheri enjoyed arts and crafts, and fishing.
Cheri was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents,
and husband, Melvin.
