Leone Blatchley, 87, of Coloma died at the Marshfield
Hospital-Palliative Care Unit on Dec. 17, 2006 with her
family by her side.
She was born at home in Adams County to Ulric and Mildred
(Shorey) Warren. She and her brothers had a family band.
They enjoyed many hours entertaining people. On Aug. 7,
1937, she married Forrest Blatchley. The worked side by side
all of their married life. She enjoyed music, polka dancing,
gardening, crafts, her grandchildren, great
grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
She was receded in death by her husband, Forrest; her
son, Gordon; her parents; two brothers, Jim (Myrtle) Warren,
Buzzy (Addie) Warren; one sister, Iva (Alfred) Krueger; and
one great-great grand daughter, Kadance Lynn Leone.
She is survived by a daughter, Glenda (Robert) Warzynski;
three granddaughters, Teresa Gunderson, Jackie (Kevin)
Sigourney, and Toni Burrows; six great-grand children,
Shane, Amber, Levi, Claire, Ethan, and Damon; one
great-great grandson, Isaac; two sisters, Vera (Chester)
Jensen, Belva (Harold)
Sonnenberg; and many nieces, nephews, and other family
members.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 4 to
8 p.m. at Roseberry�s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 11
a.m. at South Burr Oak Methodist Church. Burial will take
place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery following funeral services.
Lunch will be held at South Burr Oak Church after graveside
services.
