Jacob J. Frank, age 89 of Adams died Saturday, December 9,
2006 at his home following an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14th
at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship. Father James P.
McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose
Cemetery, Friendship. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. on
Thursday until time of services.
Jake was born April 6, 1917 in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota the
son of Martin and Katherine (Schneider) Frank.
He married Esther M. Herbert on February 13, 1939 in Fond du
Lac, WI. Jake worked as welder in the auto industry for 36
years before retiring in 1971. He and his wife moved to
Adams-Friendship in 1980.
Jake enjoyed entertaining children with all his magic
tricks. He was a sportsman, in his early years, who enjoyed
hunting, fishing, and bowling. Jake was an inventor and
handyman all his life. He and his wife built their families
first home by hand in Racine.
Jake always had room to help people when ever needed. His
humor and stories will be sorely missed. Jake was devoted
husband and father. He and his wife took many trips with
their son, Jake and were able to see most of the USA in
their retirement.
Jake was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esther;
daughter, Esther; three sisters and one brother.
