MaryJane
Schwabe, age 74 of Friendship, Wisconsin died Friday,
December 15, 2006 at home following a long illness with
cancer.
Funeral services will be 11:00
a.m. on Monday, December 18th at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, Friendship. Father James P. McNamee will
officiate. Visitation will be on Monday From 10:00 a.m.
until time of services at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Visitation will also be held on
Tuesday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Betts Funeral Home,
Elkhorn, WI 53121.
Interment will be on Wednesday,
December 20th, 2006 the Millard Cemetery,
Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
MaryJane was born November 5, 1932
in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Thomas and Wilma (Moore) Knight.
She graduated from St. Aloysius Grade School, West Allis, WI
and from Whitewater High School in 1951. MaryJane married
Arthur Louis Schwabe on October 11, 1952 in Elkhorn,
Wisconsin. She worked for LakeLand Nursing Home for 30
years, retiring in 1991. MaryJane and Arthur moved to
Friendship that same year.
MaryJane enjoyed rug weaving,
fishing, traveling, attending church, and spending time with
her beloved family and granddaughters.
MaryJane was a member of the
Walworth County Farm Bureau, Charter Member of the Elkhorn
F.F.A., and of the Friends of Friendship Lake.
She was preceded in death by her
parents and one son, Arthur L. Schwabe Jr.
