 Ruth Emma Strand, age 89, of East Troy, Wisconsin died
December 12, 2006 at the Kiwanis Manor Nursing Home in East
Troy, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December
18, 2006 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale,
Wisconsin. The Rev. James Steinbrecher and Pastor Mike
Iannelli will officiate. Interment will be at the East
Arkdale Cemetery, Town of Strongs Prairie, Adams County,
Wisconsin. Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral Home
will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Monday at the
church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Ruth was born January 5, 1917 in Hartford, Wisconsin to
Frank and Alma (Bublitz) Kuhnke. She married Theodore A.
Strand in Dubuque, IA.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband
Theodore; one son, Gordon Strand; three sisters, Evelyn
Lemons, Gloria Cicvarek, and Jane Jankowski;
Daughter-in-law, Marsha Strand; and one grandson, Donny
Barber.
