Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Davis Corners United Methodist Church. Pastor Steve Miller will officiate. Interment will be at the Davis Corners Cemetery, Twp of Jackson, Adams County, Wisconsin. Military rites will be offered by the Wisconsin Dells American Legion Post #187 and Wisconsin Dells VFW Post #9387

Visitation will be at Davis Corners United Methodist Church on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Harold was born October 2, 1921 in Oxford, Wisconsin to Warren F. and Emma (Nehring) Coon. He attended elementary school the Jackson Township and graduated from the Oxford High School. Harold was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. He married Helen Marie Golz on October 1, 1949 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Harold worked at Badger Ordnance until he started his own construction with his brother, Tezzie. He loved his work, and he continued to work until his recent illness.

Harold was an avid baseball player and later a fan, he enjoyed watching the Packers, playing golf, gardening, bowling, and spending time with his late wife, Helen and his grandchildren.

Harold was a member of the Dells-Delton United Methodist Church of Wisconsin Dells, the Wisconsin Dells VFW Post and the Wisconsin Dells American Legion Post #187.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife (Helen – 2004); son (David Jones - 2005); and brother (Chuck).
