 Emma A. Messerli, age 83, of
Adams, Wisconsin died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the
Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship,
Wisconsin.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday,
February 13, 2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship, Wisconsin. The Rev. John K. Stake will
officiate. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Oak Grove Cemetery,
Portage, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of service on
Monday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Emma was born April 16, 1922 in Prairie du Chien,
Wisconsin to Frank and Flora Bruckner. She grew up and went
to school in Prairie du Chien. Emma lived on a farm with her
parents.
Emma enjoyed grandchildren, gardening, garage sales, flee
markets, fishing, canning, cooking and baking, family and
friends, bingo, cards, and the free table.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents (Frank and
Flora Bruckner); son (Edwin Robert Oates); Emma’s
significant other (Gregory Hvizdak); siblings (Frank, Lloyd,
Violet, and John).
