William Shipla, age 95, of
Friendship, Wisconsin died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at the
Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship.Funeral services
will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 25th at
Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship. Rev. Doug Steinke
will officiate. Interment will be at the Fordham Cemetery.
Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279;
the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand
Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
William was born October 10, 1909 in Friendship,
Wisconsin the son of James and Mary (Vlk) Sipla. He spent
his entire life on the home farm. He went to the Fordham
Grade School. He joined the U.S. Army during World War II
serving in the European Theater.
William was preceded in death by his parents, brothers
(Joseph, Jim, and Tony); sisters (Emma Janda, Jean Krakora,
and Anna Hayer).

Visitation will begin at 9:00 am on Wednesday until the
time of services at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
