Kathryn S. Allen, age 79, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Moundview Memorial Extended Care in Friendship, Wisconsin.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

 

Visitation will be on Saturday at Roseberry's Funeral Home from 12 Noon until the time service.

 

Katie was born November 16, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Charles and Mary (Klement) Snyder. She married Harold L. "Red" Allen on September 11, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Katie worked as a nurse in Milwaukee before the birth of her first child; she then dedicated her life to her family.

 

Katie enjoyed gardening, needle work, crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

 

Katie was a member of the Red Hat Society.

 

Katie was preceded in death by her parents Charles William Snyder and Mary Klement Snyder, her brother Charles Snyder, and twin sister Mary Snyder-Schulz.
