 Cynthia "Polly" Boyce, age 83,
of Friendship, Wisconsin died Friday, July 7, 2006 at the
Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12,
2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. The Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate. Cremation
will follow the service with final interment at the Easton
Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on
Wednesday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Polly was born March 2, 1923 in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin to
Albert and Rachel (Neff) Colburn. She graduated form nurses
College in Milwaukee before working as a nurse at the
Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee and
as a psychiatric nurse at the Tomah VA Hospital from 1960 to
1979,
where she met her husband Ernest Boyce Jr. They were married
on May 31, 1969 in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin.
Polly enjoyed cooking, bridge, golfing, knitting,
spending time with her dog "nipper" and her nieces and
nephews.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents, husband
Ernest (1995);brothers (Keith and Lawrence); and one Sister
(Betty).
