Edwin
William Schulz Sr., age 78, of Adams, Wisconsin died
Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Villa Pines Living Center in
Friendship, Wisconsin.A Memorial service will be 1:00
p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Catholic
Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee
will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo’s Catholic
Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Military rites will be
offered at the graveside service by the Adams VFW Post
#6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and
the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be 12 Noon until the time of Mass on
Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Edwin was born May 28, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
Edwin and Dorothy (Mathews) Schulz. He was a veteran of
WWII, serving in the Navy as a Seabee. Edwin married Grace
Kirchen on September 21, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They
raised their family in Port Washington, where they resided
for 31 years before retiring to Adams County in 1990.
Edwin worked for 31 years at St. Regis Paper Mill in
Milwaukee and 14 years as security director at Manchester
Mall in Grafton, Wisconsin.
Edwin enjoyed planting flowers, playing cards, watching
the Packers, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Edwin was a 4th Degree member of the Knights
of Columbus #6718 and the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; step-father,
Bart Sullivan; brother, Ralph Schulz; and sister, Marceila
Schulz.
