 Carol Marie Stone, age 65, of
Adams, Wisconsin died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at her son’s
home in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.Memorial services will be
3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. The Rev. John K. Stake will
officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday at
Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Carol was born October 14, 1940 in Franklin, Wisconsin to
Leonard and Madeline (Benedict) Schrofer. She married Myron
Charles Stone on September 26, 1959 in Adams, Wisconsin.
Carol and her husband worked the carnivals circuit; she also
volunteered at the Head-Start, and drove bus for the
Adams-Friendship School District.
Carol enjoyed reading and spending time with her
grandchildren
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband
(Myron-Aug 10, 2002); sisters (Donna Rudd and Helen Schrofer);
and infant brother (Gordon Schrofer).
