 Bernetta
Elizabeth Lonear, age 86, of Friendship, Wisconsin died
Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Moundview Memorial Extended
Care in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2006
at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale,
Wisconsin. The Rev. Ronald Hanson will officiate.
Interment will be at the South Arkdale Cemetery, Twp of
Strongs Prairie, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday
at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Bernetta was born June 14, 1919 in Bear
Valley, Wisconsin to Arnold H. and Terrie B. (Wandless)
Grell. She moved with her family to Adams County in the
early 1940’s. Bernetta married Raynel T. Lonear on June 20,
1946 in Adams, Wisconsin. The couple worked on the family
farm in Arkdale for 40 years.
Bernetta enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking,
crossword puzzles, gardening, picking raspberries, and
telling stories of her childhood.
Bernetta was preceded in death by her
parents, husband Raynel – 1987; four brothers and three
sisters; and one grandchild (Matthew).
