Donald Thorne, age 84, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died
Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the Wisconsin Dells Health &
Rehab Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.Funeral
services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2006 at the
Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Pastor Dwight Condon will officiate. Interment will be at
the Easton Cemetery, Twp of Easton, Adams County,
Wisconsin. Military rites will be offered at the graveside
service by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American
Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American
Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Roseberry's
Funeral Home.
Wayne was born March 7, 1922 in Town of Jackson, Adams
County, Wisconsin to Roy and Edna M. (Hawes) Thorne. He was
a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army in the European
Theater of War. Wayne married Darlene Albert on December 10,
1960 in Deforest, Wisconsin. The couple made their home in
the Southern Adams County, and later lived the City of
Wisconsin Dells for many years.
Wayne was a member of the Adams VFW Post#6279.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife
(Darlene); one brother; three sisters and one granddaughter,
Jordon.
