 Claude
Iver Roberts, age 82, of Friendship, Wisconsin died
Saturday, May 27, 2006 at his home.Funeral services will
be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Roseberry's
Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. The Rev. Ronald
Hanson will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional
service with final interment at the Mt. Repose Cemetery,
Friendship, Wisconsin. Military rites will be offered by the
Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud
Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion
Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31st
at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Claude was born June 24, 1923 in Monroe Center, Wisconsin
to William and Elizabeth (Carlson) Roberts. He was a veteran
of WWII, serving in the navy. He married Evelyn
Pavlicek on January 10, 1953 in Adams, Wisconsin. Claude
worked on his family farm in Friendship for over 40 years.
Claude enjoyed spending time with his family on his farm,
horse and car trading, going for drives, telling stories,
sharing the past with family and friends, deer and raccoon
hunting and watching westerns on television.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents; brothers
(Alva, Otto, and John); twin sisters (Ole and Lena).
