Mary Baggs-Huyck, age 97, of Friendship, Wisconsin died
Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Villa Pines Living Center
in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December
2, 2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Interment will
be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral from 9 a.m.
until the time of service on Saturday.
Mary was born January 21, 1909 in the Adams County
Township of Lincoln, the daughter of Samuel and Lillian (Finel)
Baggs. She married Dail Huyck on June 8, 1940. Mary, Dail,
and his 4 year old daughter Shannon moved to Beloit,
Wisconsin. There she worked as a cook at a restaurant until
she moved back to Adams County in 1969. She cared for her
dad, Samuel; her husband, Dail; Uncle, Frank; and her
brother, Charley for many years.
She enjoyed doing many crafts and hobbies, crocheting,
oil painting, sewing, gardening, hair cutting, traveling,
and visiting with friends. Mary was a member of Secret
Shadow Sisters.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Dail Huyck;
step-daugther, Shannon; parents, Lillian and Samuel Baggs;
brothers, Edward Baggs, Harvey (Enid) Baggs, Charley Baggs,
Herman (Shirley) Baggs; an infant sister, Samantha; nephew,
Donnie Baggs,
sister-in-law, Thelma Baggs; and Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Charles
(Gay) Huyck.

She is further
survived by several Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
great nieces and great nephews, other relatives, friends,
and her other family, Florence, Everett, Dale, Ken, and Alan
Johnson.
Memorials may be given in Mary�s memory to the Villa
Pines Living Center, PO Box 130, Friendship, WI 53934 for
use in their "Indoor Garden" Project.
The family would like to thank Villa Pines Living Center
and it�s staff for the loving care they provided Mary. They
would also like to thank Dr. Martin Janssen and Deb Frasher
of the Roche-A-Cri Clinic.
