Ronald R. Newman, age 64, of Port Edwards,
Wisconsin died Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Edgewater
Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be held at a later
date, with final interment will be at the Monroe Center
Cemetery, Monroe Center, Wisconsin.
Ron was born April 25, 1942 in Wisconsin
Rapids, Wisconsin to Ruston and Lillian (Renner) Newman. He
graduated from Adams-Friendship High School. Ron was a
veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army. He married
Elaine V. Santoni on July 22, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. He
worked at the Nekoosa Foundry for 20 years before working
for the Adams-Friendship School District for 15 years.
Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping
until his health failed him.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
