Albert
Herman Radtke, age 91, of Oxford, Wisconsin died Wednesday,
November 29, 2006 at the St. Clare Meadows Care Center in
Baraboo, WI.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December
2, 2006 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Oxford,
Wisconsin. Rev. Brian Rohde will officiate. Interment will
be at the White Creek Cemetery, Twp of Easton, Adams County,
Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m.
to 11 a.m.
Albert was born February 17, 1915 in Fremont, Wisconsin
to Otto and Martha (Kumrow) Radtke.
He married Doris Anna Dye on May 30, 1939 at the St.
John's Lutheran Church, Town of Quincy, Adams County, WI.
Albert worked at the Badger Ordnance in Baraboo and also
worked for Big Joe�s Manufacturing Company in Wisconsin
Dells.
Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, antiques,
and providing stuffed animals for the St. Clare Meadows
Nursing Home.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and
Martha; wife, Doris; brothers Lawrence Radtke, George Radtke, Arnold
Radtke, and Walter Radtke; sisters, Laura Ratzburg and Leona
Beck; and son-in-law, Lee Freed.
