William
Donald Berg, age 68, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Monday,
October 30, 2006 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital &
Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3,
2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Rev. Steve Miller will officiate. Cremation will
follow the traditional service with final interment at the
Rest Haven Cemetery, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday at Roseberry's
Funeral Home.
Bill was born February 2, 1938 in Fall Creek, Wisconsin
to Albin W. and Cecile L. (Schilts) Berg. He grew up in Eau
Claire, Wisconsin. Bill was married to Juanita Richards,
this marriage was blessed with six children. He married his
second wife, Mary Olsen. This marriage was blessed with one
daughter. After being widowed, he met and settled down with
Frances Abram and her family for 30 years.
Bill worked as a tree surgeon for 50 years. He lived in
Eau Claire and Milwaukee before settling to Grand Marsh for
his retirement.
Bill enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, camping, spending
time with family and his friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents;
great-granddaughter, Anyiha Perez; and step-son, John
Wright.
