William
"Bill" Brain, age 79, of Rome � Lake Camelot, Wisconsin died
Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at home peacefully with his
loved ones.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October
27, 2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. David Daul will
officiate. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW
Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250;
and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post
#273. A luncheon will follow at the Woodland Lutheran Church
in the town of Rome.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on
Friday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Interment will be at a later date at the Spring Branch
Cemetery, Rome, Wisconsin.
Bill was born November 12, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to
Bernard and Ann (McClure) Brain. Bill grew up in Chicago and
in his youth was a life guard on a police boat on Lake
Michigan. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Naval Air
Corps. Bill worked as a national account rep for Rock Island
Railroad, Gateway, and Carolina Motor Transit Companies. He
married June H. Mauthe on May 8, 1976 in Menasha, Wisconsin.
Bill enjoyed golfing, water and snow skiing, boating,
archery, and especially his dogs.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and
Ann Brain.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the
Ministry Health Care Hospice.
