Georgia
Jane Kouba nee Rathermel, age 77, of Rome, Wisconsin died
Monday, September 25, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon on Thursday, September
28, 2006 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale,
Wisconsin. The Rev. James Steinbrecher will officiate.
Interment will follow cremation at a later date at the
Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until the time of service
on Thursday at Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church.
Georgia was born May 27, 1929 in Friendship, Wisconsin to
Alva and Jane (Sherman) Rathermel. She married Lester Kouba
on March 10, 1950 in Adams, Wisconsin. This marriage was
blessed with 5 children. Georgia was a devoted wife and
mother. She worked as a cook in Port Edwards and Friendship
and later at A-F Floral as a florist.
Georgia enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling, sewing,
quilting, crocheting, camping, floral arranging, and
spending time with her family.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents;
Step-Father, Vilas Leach; and brother, Francis "Pud"
Rathermel.
