Bernice Noreen Challoner, age 80, of Adams, Wisconsin
died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the St. Joseph's Hospital
in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April
18, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Sunderlage will officiate. Interment
will be at the Hancock Cemetery, Hancock, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at Roseberry�s on Wednesday from 11:00
a.m. until the time of service.
Bernice was born July 20, 1926 in Coloma, Wisconsin to
Hugh and Hazel (Goodwin) Monroe. She graduated from the Red
Brick School in Coloma. Bernice worked on the family farm
until she married Stanley Challoner on September 23, 1950 in
Bancroft,
Wisconsin. The couple lived in Babcock, Dellwood, City
Point, and Hancock. Before moving to Adams in 1956. The
couple moved to their family farm, where they raised their
family, in 1966.
Bernice enjoyed going to rummage sales, auctions, and
antique sales. She also sold her crafts at flea markets. She
also enjoyed crocheting, raising her cats, woodworking,
playing her guitar and accordion, following politics, and
spending time with her family.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband �
Stanley Challoner; brother � Hubert Monroe; and sister �
Bonnie Olson.
