Ann Elizabeth Bredesen, age 70, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died
Monday, August 27, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September
1, 2007 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale,
Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Interment
will be at the South Arkdale Cemetery, Town of Strongs
Prairie, Adams County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m.
until the time of service.
Ann was born May 29, 1937 in Adams, Wisconsin to Clarence
and Bessie (Ewing) Thomas. She graduated from Adams
Friendship High School. Ann married Arthur Percy Bredesen
on October 30, 1954 in Madison, Wisconsin.
They made home in Kenosha, Wisconsin where children Marcia
and William were born. They returned to Arkdale in 1960 and
lived on the family�s homestead and celebrated the birth of
daughter, Denise.
Ann enjoyed supporting her children and traveling with them
throughout the United States and Europe, spending time with
her grandchildren, Dillon and Darren. She found great
pleasure in keeping up with current events and spending and
caring for her dog, Tommy.
Ann was preceded in death by
Husband, Arthur Percy Bredesen; Brother, Clarence (Duke)
Thomas; Mother, Bessie Thomas; Sister, Ruth Schumacher;
Father, Clarence Thomas.
