Lorena
Sarah McClyman, age 87, of Brooks, Wisconsin died Friday,
December 21, 2007 at the St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo,
Wisconsin.
Funeral services
will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the
Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor
Joe Adkins will officiate. Interment will be at the New
Chester Cemetery, Town of New Chester, Adams County,
Wisconsin.
Visitation will
be at Roseberry's Funeral Home on Friday, December 28th
from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, December 29th
one hour prior to the service.
Lorena was born
March 12, 1920 in Town of Lincoln, Adams County, Wisconsin
to Lyman and Minnie (Jones) Adee. She married Clarence F.
McClyman in 1937 at her family�s home. They made their home
in the town of New Chester where they farmed. The family
later moved to Brooks in the mid 1940�s. Lorena worked as a
telephone operator out of her own home, and later worked for
Brakebush in Westfield, WI.
Lorena enjoyed
collecting salt and pepper shakers and dolls and spoons,
playing "500" card
games with other ladies in the Brooks area, visiting with
family and friends on the phone, and having a cup of coffee
with someone in the morning.
Lorena was
preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence (Dec.
30, 1983); brothers: Harold and Darwin; sister, Edna; and a
nephew, Mike Adee.
