Viola Margaret Stuebs, age 93, of King, Wisconsin died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Wisconsin Veteran�s Home in King, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Joe Adkins will officiate. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Town of Lincoln, Adams County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19th and one hour prior to service on Thursday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.

Viola, and her twin brother, Vern were born June 29, 1914 in Town of Lincoln, Adams County, Wisconsin to Walter and Pearl (Hale) Osborn. She grew up on the family homestead and graduated from Spring Bluff Grade School. Viola later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she met her husband Lester G. Stuebs. They were married on May 25, 1941 in Maquoketa, Iowa. They lived in the Milwaukee area where Viola worked in a variety of Meat Markets and Grocery Stores. She retired in 1973, and they then returned to Grand Marsh. Viola also worked at several seasonal jobs for area farms.

Viola was a member of the Grand Marsh Harmony HCE, the Grand Marsh Development Corporation, and Grand Marsh United Church of Christ.

Viola enjoyed working, gardening, knitting, crocheting, fishing, playing the violin, bowling, and spending time with her family and her good friends.

Viola was preceded in death by her twin brother, Vern Osborn; parents, Walter and Pearl Osborn; nephew, Larry Morgan; husband, Lester Stuebs; and brother-in-law, Harold Morgan.

Son: Gary (Mary Lueck) Stuebs of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

Sister: Hazel Morgan of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Granddaughter: Stephanie Stuebs of Savannah, GA

Niece: Sandra (Bill) Wormet of Adams, Wisconsin

Great-Niece: Tammy (Scott) Lowery of Adams, Wisconsin

Great-Nephew: Jeff Wormet of Adams, Wisconsin

Further survived by other relatives and friends.
