Donald Kenneth Cole, age 76, of Wisconsin Dells,
Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the his
home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
At Don�s request, there will be no funeral or memorial
service.
Donald was born February 16, 1930 in Argonne, Wisconsin
to Emery and Lillian (Schroeder) Cole. He moved with his
family to Wisconsin Dells in 1942. He was a veteran, serving
in the Army during the Korean War where he received a purple
heart. He married Lois VanBuskirk in 1953, this marriage was
blessed with three children before ending in divorce. He
married Jean Elkins on February 16, 1974 in Milroy,
Minnesota.
Donald was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing,
hunting, and gardening.
Donald was preceded in death by parents; one son, Daniel;
three brothers, Carmon, Robert, and Bill; and one sister,
Viola.
