Edmund Richard Dagenais, age 70, of Tomah, Wisconsin died
Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Tomah VA Medical Center
in Tomah, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February
24, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Tomah,
Wisconsin. The Rev. Bill Swan will officiate. Visitation
will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at
First United Methodist Church.
Interment will be at a later date at the Southern
Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove,
Wisconsin.
Edmund was born May 1, 1936 in Blue Island, Illinois to
Edmund Arthur and Emma Agnes (Bettag) Dagenais. He was a
veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy.
He owned and operated Ed�s Lock Shop in Prairie du Chien.
He married Judith A. Freund on January 1, 1994 in Prairie
du Chien. Ed and Judith lived in Seneca, WI for seven years
before moving to Tomah, WI.
Ed enjoyed woodworking, Tae Kwan Do (in which he earned a
black belt), being in the ministry, computers, and working
in his printing museum.
Ed was a member of the First United Methodist Church in
Tomah and he was a proud alumni of the USS Shields.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary
Elizabeth Watson; one grandson, Dustin Dagenais; and a
sister, Katherine Dagenais.
