Richard Russell Murray has passed away at the age of 64
in Mauston, WI formerly of West Haven, CT he has lost his
battle with lung cancer on February 14, 2007.

daughter Christine (Nina) Dolzenchuk and husband Barry of
Salem, CT;

daughter Bernadette Pikus and husband Matthew of Casa
Grande, AZ;
stepdaughter Dawn
Letterer of Mauston, WI;
stepdaughter
Jennifer Murphy and her companion Ed Neron of Mauston, WI;
stepson Keith
Murphy II of Wallingford, CT.
His grandsons
Joshua Lenches and Alexander Lenches of Stratford, CT;

Tyler Neron of Mauston, WI;

nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and
Jeanne Murray and his sister Jeanne Pascarelli.
Richard retired from Carolina Freight Carriers, after 27
years of service. Of the many hobbies he had he enjoyed his
leatherwork, collecting collectibles of sports memorabilia.
He was a Boy Scout leader in West Haven for 10 years. He
served in the US Marine Corp. He loved carpentry as a hobby.
He also enjoyed playing cards, researching history, and
listening to country music. He was a great craftsman, and an
avid western and war movie buff.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in
Connecticut.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society
in the Murray family name.
