James
Ouellette, age 72, of Springville Township, Adams County,
Wisconsin died February 2, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital
Medical Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February
7, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Family and
friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11
a.m. until the time of service. Cremation will follow the
traditional services.
Jim was born February 4, 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota to
Huber and Francis (Robie) Ouellette. The family moved to
Milwaukee, WI in the 1930�s. He graduated from Boys Tech.
Jim enjoyed cars and was successful in the modified stock
care racing circuit through out the 60�s and 70�s. He raced
in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Canada. He was known
as the "Flying Frenchman."
In continuing his love for cars, he worked as a Sales
representative for many automotive dealers including Saab
for 6 years. He later turned this love of working with cars
into a successful repair business at his home in West Allis,
Wisconsin.
He married Marilyn Ann Ferkovich on August 3, 1985 in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They retired in the late 1990�s and
moved to their home in Springville Township.
Jim also enjoyed camping, yearly fishing trip to Alma,
WI, and spending winters in Florida.
