Carl �Bud� Ottosen, passed away on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, 11 days away from his 90th birthday, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg.

He was born on Jan. 23, 1917, in Adams, one of nine children born to Charles and Margaret (Baumgartner) Ottosen. Bud married Fay Christofferson and had three children; Inga Jean, twins James Peter and David Charles. He was a lifelong resident of Adams where he worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. Bud began on the bridge building gang and after 47 years, he retired as an engineer. He was very proud member of the Adams Masonic Lodge, as well as the Zor Shrine. He became a Master Mason in 1947 and a Royal Arch Mason Member or W.D. Niles/Elza M. Chase Chapter No. 104. Bud had been a high school athlete and continued his love of sports, any sport, throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by a son, David (Sarah) Ottosen of Waunakee; three sisters, Carol Randles of Milwaukee, Genevive Bidar of LaCrosse and Lola Pritchard of Necedah; six grandchildren, Jonathan Krueger, Lisa (John) Schilb, both of St. Louis, Mo., Michael Krueger of Harrisville, Jeffrey (Madoka) Krueger of Ft. Huachuca, Ariz., Erica Ottosen of Madison and Shane (Carrie) Ottosen of Waunakee; four great-grandsons; nieces; nephews; friends; and a very special couple in the �White� house.

A Masonic and Funeral service will be held at ROSEBERRY�S FUNERAL HOME, 512 Main St., Friendship, Wisc., at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service on Saturday.
