Charles (Chuck) Robert Shook, age 53, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Saturday, January 20, 2007.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Steve Miller will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.

Chuck was born February 5, 1953 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Donald P. and Verna M. Klement Shook. He attended school in Racine and Baraboo. Chuck married Kristine Gietzen on June 23, 1979 in Baraboo, Wisconsin. He was employed at Wal-Mart in Lake Delton, WI.

Chuck loved being a grandpa, he enjoyed woodworking in his shop and was a NASCAR fan, especially of #3 Dale Earnhardt. Chuck spent many years as a local Baraboo musician, playing drums for the Baratones and We Three.

Chuck was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harriet and Paul Shook and maternal grandparents Dorothy and Lucius Klement, an infant brother Richard, a nephew Joshua, uncles and cousins, father-in-law Frank Gietzen and mother-in-law Mildred (Gietzen) Walter and nephew Edward Gietzen, Jr.

Former Wife: Kristine M. Shook of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Daughter: Tina (Jesse) Kolb of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Son: Frank Shook of Pembrook Pines, FL

Son: Donald Shook of Madison, Wisconsin

Sister: Bonnie (David) Hibner of Portage, Wisconsin

Sister: Francine (William) Schneider of Ellenton, FL

Sister: Donna (Steven) Elliott of Portage, Wisconsin

Sister: Bev Shook of Baraboo, Wisconsin

Granddaughters: Kayla and Hailey Kolb of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Grandson: Jesse Kolb Jr. of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Brothers-in-law: Wayne and Edward Gietzen, Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Niece: Penny (Gietzen) Bykowski, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Nephew: Eric Gietzen, Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Further survived by aunts and uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was a great Papa, Grandpa and Dad. Chuck will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
