Cecilia Ann Sersen, age 81, of New Lisbon, Wisconsin died
Sunday, July 29, 2007 at her home following a courageous
battle with cancer.
Private family services are planned.
Cecilia was born November 5, 1925 in Cary, Illinois to
Martin and Theresa (Renidl) Pesek. She married Roy J. Sersen
on August 26, 1950 in Cary, Illinois. The couple made their
home in Crystal Lake, IL. Cecelia was a devoted wife and
mother to their two children. The couple retired to
Wisconsin in 1972 and eventually settled in rural New
Lisbon.
Cecelia was a devoted Christian, she enjoyed collecting
swans, gardening, tending to her flowers, watching the birds
in her yard, taking rides in the countryside, taking care of
her three cats, and spending time with her family and
especially her grandchildren.

Further survived by cousins, other relatives, and
friends.
