Arthur Dale Carpenter, age 83, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.  Pastor Sam Downey will officiate.   

Interment will be 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the North Rushford Cemetery, Omro, Wisconsin.  Military honors will be given by the Daugherty-Hamilton American Legion Post 234 at the cemetery. 

Friends may call at Roseberry�s on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of service. 

Arthur was born July 22, 1923 in Rushford, Wisconsin to Arthur H. and Mary J. (Flanigan) Carpenter. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Navy in the Pacific Theater. Arthur worked as hauled canned milk, machinist, farmer, and cut fire wood.

Arthur enjoyed gardening, fishing, picture taking, working on his computer, artistic painting, and spending time with his family.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley; brother, George; Brother, Melvin; Sister, Dorothy; Sister, Edith; Granddaughter, Addie; Great-Grandson, Kyle; longtime companion, Dorothy Cornwell.

Daughter: Connie J. Potter-Carpenter of Pine River, Wisconsin

Granddaughter: Susan (Mike) Quick of Wild Rose, Wisconsin

Granddaughter: Carrie (Francis) Caldwell of Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Granddaughter: Maia Petrick of Wautoma, Wisconsin

Grandson: Joseph Potter of Pine River, Wisconsin

Grandson: Takota Potter of Pine River, Wisconsin

Granddaughter: Wynonna Potter of Pine River, Wisconsin

Great-Grandchild: Clark Goodearle of Wild Rose, Wisconsin

Great-Grandchild: Caleb Goodearle of Wild Rose, Wisconsin

Great-Grandchild: Aaron Quick of Wild Rose, Wisconsin

Sister: Neita Faye (Ralph) Spanbauer of Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Sister: Irene Haedt of Omro, Wisconsin

Brother: Merle (Flossie) Carpenter of Omro, Wisconsin

Sister: Eva Mae Coates of Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
