George Walter Cass, age 89, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his home following a battle with lymphatic cancer.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses

in Friendship, Wisconsin. Mr. Dennis Grudznske will officiate. Friends may visit to pay their respects at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday, June 30th, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a gathering for family and friends will following the service.

George was born February 11, 1918 in Madison, Wisconsin to Van Winton and Julia Marie (Bangs) Cass. He married Eleanor Dary on April 6, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa. He was a veteran of WWII, enlisting in the Army Air Corps. George was a 1st Lt flight instructor and pilot in B-24�s and B-29�s.

George worked as a wood craftsman building furniture and cabinets for over 50 years. He owned and operated Cass�s Custom Cabinets serving much of Central and Southern Wisconsin. George volunteered many hours to the construction of new and remodel Kingdom Hall projects.

The main focus of George�s life was to volunteer his time, energy, and resources as a minister for over 56 years as one of Jehovah�s Witnesses. He found great joy sharing with his neighbors in our community and throughout much of Wisconsin, his love for Jehovah God and His son Jesus, and the message of God�s Kingdom promised for mankind.

George was preceded in death by parents Van Winton Cass � 1935 and Julia Marie Cass � 1976; an infant daughter, Lisa Dawn Cass � 1959; sister, Kathlyn Hoffman � 1965; brother-in-law, Jerome Hoffman � 2006; and son-in-law, George Wuolle - 2007.

Son: Ronald D. (Linda-joy) Cass of Helenville, Wisconsin

Daughter: Georgia Dian Perschke-Wuolle of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Son: Van Warren (Linda) Cass of Marathon, Wisconsin

Son: Walter Wayne (Gina) Cass of Oak Creek, Wisconsin

Brother: Bruce B. Cass of Sauk City, Wisconsin

Grandchildren: 9

Great-Grandchildren: 6

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
