Hawley, age 87, of Friendship, Wisconsin died June 12, 2007
at the Moundview Memorial Extended Care in Friendship,
Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15,
2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. The Rev. Richard Church will officiate.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on
Friday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Verna was born April 18, 1920 in Elgin, Illinois to
Robert Edward and Hazel (Rienking) Shrader. She married
Elmer William Hawley on February 4, 1944 in Elgin, IL. The
couple moved to Friendship, WI in 1970 and owned the Island
Resort for many years.
Verna enjoyed knitting, sewing, creative cooking, nature
and animals.
Verna was a active member of the Ladies Club in
Friendship, WI.
Verna was preceded in death by her parents; husband
(1987); brothers: Orlyn, Robert, and James; and sister,
Shirley Foos.
