�Animal� Gary Schumann, age 53, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin following a courageous battle with cancer. 

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m.   

Animal was born November 5, 1953 in Elgin, Illinois to Edward and Betty (Proudfoot) Schumann.   He grew up  and was raised in Carpentersville, IL.  Animal worked as a carpenter in his younger years, and later promoted bands for concerts and benefits.  He was involved with ABATE and toys for tots. 

Animal enjoyed music, playing a variety of sports while in school, and motorcycles. 

Animal was a very proud father his children,

   Daughter:  Amber (Dan) Bisek of New Prague, MN

   Grandchildren:  6 

   Mother:  Betty Koons of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

   Sister:  June Swanson of Algonquin, IL

   Sister:  Dona (David) Heikkinen of Crystal Falls, MI

   Further survived by 3 Nieces, 2 Nephews, other relatives, and many, many �brothers� and good friends.
