Rose Marie Weiland, age 69, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Donna Miller will officiate. Interment, at a later date, will be at the Wyocena Cemetery, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.

Rose was born September 25, 1937 in Adams, Wisconsin to William and Minnie (Albrecht) Cochrane. She married the late William Thomas Matrick on June 11, 1955 in Adams, Wisconsin. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children, one of whom died at birth. This marriage later ended in divorce. Rose later married the late Wilbur Wesley Weiland on October 2, 1976 in Wyocena, WI.

Rose enjoyed fishing, bingo, plants and gardening, poker, word searches, playing games on her computer, outdoors, pets, cooking for family and friends, and spending time with family and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; an infant daughter, Annette Ann Matrick; Step-daughter, Audrey Nelson; sister, Ruth; brothers, Roy and John; step-sister, Gloria; Step-Brothers: Walter, Gordon, Edison and close friend, Bob Peterson.
