Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams, WI, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2007. The Rev. John Krebs will officiate. Interment will be at the Quincy Cemetery, Town of Quincy, WI, following the service.

Mabel was born March 16, 1911, in Quincy Township, Adams County, WI, to Frank and Rose (Lev) Hovorka. She was married in Winona, MN, on February 2, 1928, to Albert Herman Wormet Sr., who brought her to live on his parents farmowned by members of the John Wormet family since 1900where she has resided for the nearly 80 years since.

Mabels passion was her family, who still gathered for holidays and birthdays, festively packing into the rustic old original family homestead. Her hobbies were crocheting, reading, watching the birds and wildlife just outside her windows, playing cards, traveling, visiting and shopping.

She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, whose Pastor John Krebs portrayed his monthly in-home visits with her as lively and refreshing, and described her to her children as an exemplary Christian soul.

Her four surviving children are her daughter Frances Warp of Coloma, WI, her son, A.J.
