Mazie Elizabeth Simonson, age 90, of Friendship,
Wisconsin died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the Moundview
Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November
14, 2007 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Rev. Karyn D. Bodenschatz will officiate.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Roseberry's
Funeral Home.
Interment will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15,
2007 at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Janesville, Wisconsin.
Mazie was born November 2, 1917 in Elroy, Wisconsin to
John and Myra (Tucker) Glover. She married Alfred Simonson,
this marriage was blessed with three sons before Alfred died
in automobile accident that also claimed the life of their
son, George. Mazie married Sanford Simonson on April 19,
1947 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. This union produced one son and
two daughters. Mazie and Sanford moved to Friendship,
Wisconsin from Dane County recently because of health issues
and to be close to her family.
Mazie loved crocheting and playing bingo.
Memorials may be directed to the Building Fund at the
Trinity Lutheran Church in Adams.
Mazie was preceded in death by her parents; first
Husband, Alfred Simonson; son, George Simonson; daughters,
Susan Simonson and Deborah Murray; brothers, John and Thomas
Glover; sister, LaVearn Stiglman-Pribbenow;
