Julius
C. Crump, age 71, of died at Carroll County Memorial
Hospital on Saturday, September 8, 2007, following a
courageous battle with cancer.
He was born
June 27, 1936, in the town of Sherrill, Arkansas, to the
late Frank Crump Sr. and Eliza Wilkes. He attended grade
school in Altheimer, Arkansas. Julius moved to Milwaukee,
Wisconsin in the early 1950�s where he attended Story St.
Grade school and Boys Tech of Milwaukee where he learned
auto mechanics .Later he became a gas station owner and
truck driver. In 1968 Julius moved to Grand Marsh WI, where
he became a fully independent owner-operator.
He retired
in 2003 to Carrollton, Missouri where enjoyed his hobbies of
hunting, fishing and repairing mechanical equipment.
Julius is
survived by his wife Gertrude Crump of Baraboo, WI, his son
Mark Crump of Friendship, WI, step-son Paul Freeman Jr. of
Baraboo, WI, and daughters: Wanda Kay Shotwell of Baraboo,
WI, Julia Marie Everett of Milwaukee, WI and Netra Josett
Crump of Baraboo, WI. He is further survived by his sisters
Annie M. Johnson and Pearl M. Williams and brothers Jessie
Lewis, Jr., Sammy Lewis and Randy Crump, many grandchildren,
great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
brothers Frank Crump Jr., Raymond Crump, Oetris Lewis and
Alfonzia Lewis.
Memorial
services will be 11:00am on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at
the Roseberry�s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Pastor Teresa Thomas-Boyd
will officiate. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
on Saturday, September 22nd at Roseberry�s
Funeral Home. |
