Gust
William Hanttula, better known to family and friends as
�Willie�, age 72, of Amasa, Michigan died Saturday,
August 2, 2008 at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah,
Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August
11, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah�s Witnesses, 175
Bates-Amasa Road, Iron River, Michigan
with Mr. Dale
Stromberg speaking.
Interment will be at the
Hematite
Township Cemetery, Amasa, Michigan.
Gust was born September 19, 1935 in Amasa, Michigan to
Gust Victor and Sylvia (Lahti) Hanttula. He graduated
from the Amasa High School in 1954. Gust served in the
Navy from Oct 1954 to 1974. He was married to Annette
Sivo, this marriage was blessed with three children.
Gust enjoyed helping the elderly and individuals with
special needs, staying physically active, and spending
time with his family and extended family.
Gust was a member of the Christian Congregation of
Jehovah�s Witnesses in the Tomah area.
Gust
was preceded in death by his father, Gust Victor
Hanttula (March 14, 1974) and his mother, Sylvia Lahti
(Sept. 23, 1949).

Grandchildren: Alicia Dobson, Tonya Dobson, and
Amanda Dobson

Tomah, WI.
