James D. McGregor Sr., age 83, of Adams, Wisconsin died
August 6, 2008 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin
Rapids, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 9, 2008 at
2:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Adams ,Wisconsin. Military
rites will be offered by the Adams County Firing Squad. A
luncheon will follow the service at the VFW Hall.
Interment will be at the Colburn-Leola Cemetery, Town of
Colburn, Wisconsin at a later date.
James was born November 26, 1924 in Leola, Wisconsin to
James M. and Edna Ruth (Waltenburg) McGregor. He served in
the United States Army from March of 1946 until January of
1947 in Germany. James married Janet (Harris) Brook on May
18, 1985 in Friendship, Wisconsin.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing in Texas, cutting wood,
camping and traveling. James especially enjoyed visiting
with his family and many good friends. He was a member of
the Adams VFW Post #6279.
He
was preceded in
death by: his wife, Janet; his
parents, James and Edna
McGregor and his
sister, Belva (McGregor) Crothers.

Grandchild: Lindsay McGregor of Belgium, Wisconsin
