David J. Olson, age 61, of Hancock, Wisconsin passed away
August 17, 2008.
Born July 27th, 1947 in Racine. He resided in
Racine and attended Washington Park High School. He went on
to graduate from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh after
returning home a decorated veteran from the Vietnam War.
David owned and operated the Lake Park Den. He furthered his
work record by joining the management team for ARA. He moved
to Hancock, WI in 1989 where he owned and operated Sneaky
Pete�s. David worked at the Coloma Supermarket as the Meat
Cutter. He suffered from a very painful nerve disorder and
was under treatment for just shy of 13 years. David was an
avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed gardening and the game of
pool.
He is survived by many people whose lives he deeply
touched. His special friend B.J. Slife and her children,
Nick and Megan of Hancock, WI. His Step-Daughter, Michelle
(Bob) Conley, grandchildren; Johnathan, Amiee, Isabelle,
Amanda and Calvin Conley of Plainfield, WI and one Step-son,
Jason Nelsen.
David was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and
Luella (Blatchley) Olson and his brother Dean Olson.
A celebration of his life was held on the 20th
