Karen
Ann Komatz, age 58, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Tuesday,
December 16, 2008 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital &
Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon on Thursday, December
18, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Rev. Gary Olson will officiate. Interment will be
at the Big Flats Cemetery, Town of Big Flats, Adams County,
Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of service on
Thursday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Karen was born March 19, 1950 in Wisconsin Rapids,
Wisconsin to Anthony and Yvonne (Dennis) Najemnik. She lived
in Wisconsin Rapids until 6th grade and then
moved to Big Flats with her family. Karen married Kenneth
Peterson on September 28, 1967 in St. Louis, MO. This
marriage was blessed with three children before ending in
divorce. Karen owned and operated the Country Deli in the
town of Preston for the past 12 years. Karen married Robert
Komatz on August 10, 1996 in Adams County.
Karen enjoyed owning and working at her store, spending
time with her children and family, and loved the Green Bay
Packers.
Karen
was preceded
in death by her parents, Anthony and Yvonne Najemnik; and
her grandparents.
