William
"Bill" Carl Bischoff, age 73, of Friendship, Wisconsin
(formerly of Chicago, IL) passed away unexpectedly on
Saturday, February 2, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February
7, 2008 at the St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Chicago,
Illinois. Rev. Douglas Semenske will officiate. Interment
will be at the Bethania Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of service on
Thursday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Locally, friends may pay their respects at Roseberry�s
Funeral Home in Friendship, WI on Tuesday, February 5th,
from 3 to 5 p.m.
Bill was born June 24, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to
Willard and Florence (Cawthon) Bischoff. He graduated from
Longfellow Grade School and attended Thomas Kelly High
School in Chicago, IL. Bill married Janice O. Young on July
9, 1960 at the St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Chicago, IL. He
worked for A&P Meat Warehouse for 28 years and retired from
Burrows Hospital Supply Company in 1999.
Bill enjoyed playing with his two dogs, Molly and Rex.
Bill was a former trustee of St. Andrew Lutheran Church
and a member of many animal rescue groups.
Bill was preceded in death by parents, Willard and
Florence Bischoff; brother, Willard Jack Bischoff;
Brother-in-laws: Marvin (Butch) Young, Michael Powers, and
Oscar Douglas.
