 Catharine Martha Lopata, age 61, of Necedah, Wisconsin
surrendered to the Lord peacefully after battling cancer for
a year and a half on February 23, 2008 at her home with her
family by her side.
Funeral services will be 4:00p.m. on Tuesday, February
26, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will
officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo's Catholic
Cemetery, Friendship, WI at a later date.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at
Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Catharine was born August 16, 1946 in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin to Walter and Irene Sniadach. Catharine married
Richard Louis Lopata on January 21, 1994 in Milwaukee. She
lovingly looked after her Children Christine and David.
Catharine enjoyed gardening and taking care of her
animals. In 2002 Rich and Catharine opened their business
together, Babco Metals. Cathy always had a smile and
regarded each of her customers as friends. She was lovingly
referred to by her family as "the Sarge"
