James
D. Clellan, age 76, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Thursday,
July 3, 2008 at his home.
Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 7,
2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Interment will
be at the East Arkdale Cemetery, Arkdale, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. until the time of service on
Monday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Jim was born January 18, 1932 in Albany, Minnesota to
Lloyd Glen and Elizabeth (Fuchs) Clellan. His family moved
to Chicago when he was young. Jim moved to the Arkdale area
in the late 1960�s, building a home for his family. He later
converted it a CBRF, which he owned and operated for many
years. He loved living in Arkdale and contributing to the
community. He was gifted in dealing with older people and
making their days memorable.
Jim was a talented craftsman and artist. He was always
willing to help others and never expected anything in
return. Jim loved to discuss issues of the day, debate them,
challenge their thoughts, and encouraged people to stand up
for their beliefs.
Jim always kept his word to people and expected others to
do the same.
Jim was a loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by parents, Alice and Lloyd Glen
Clellan; and brother, George Clellan;
