Bernard L. Henningsen, age 86, of Oxford, Wisconsin died
Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loved
ones.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7,
2008 at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Brooks, Wisconsin.
Msgr. John H. Hebl will officiate. Interment will be at the
Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Twp of New Chester, Adams
County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of service on
Monday at St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Bernard was born October 22, 1921 in Brooks, Wisconsin to
Hilbert and Mildred (Lamphear) Henningsen. He married Mary
Dean on May 6, 1972 in Westfield, Wisconsin. Bernard was a
farmer for many years. He worked at Badger Ordnance for
several years and drove school bus for Adams-Friendship Area
Schools for 24 years.
He enjoyed fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers,
Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, playing cards, telling
stories of the past, and spending time with his family and
friends.
Bernard was preceded in death by parents; grandson,
Michael Lobenstein Jr.; granddaughter, Christina Lobenstein;
brothers: Pat, Vilas,
Calvin, and Wayne; sisters, Erma, Beulah, and Hazel; and an
infant brother and sister.Surviving family
