Robert E. Mattison, age 75, of Necedah, Wisconsin died
July 9, 2008 at the House of Dove in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12,
2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Pastor Karyn Bodenschatz will officiate.
Interment will be at the Strongs Prairie cemetery, Town of
Strongs Prairie, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday prior to
services.
Robert was born April 1, 1933 in Strongs Prairie,
Wisconsin to George Mattison and Charlotte (Sainsbury)
Mattison. He served in the United States Army and after
being honorably discharged in 1955 he was employed at Fort
McCoy for 38 years . Following his retirement he drove
school bus in Necedah and Mauston. Bob enjoyed hunting,
airplanes, motorcycles and stock car races. His number one
hobby was his cat Scruffy.
The family would like to give special thanks to Bobs
caregivers at the House of Dove. Bob will be dearly
missed by all of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Carl
W. Nelson animal Shelter in Mauston.
He was preceded in
death by his parents.
